PRESIDENT:

Howard Gunn Jr. is the current President of the Black Farmers and Agriculturalists Association-Florida Chapter. Mr. Gunn, Jr. is also a devoted pastor, farmer/horticulturalist, entrepreneur, retired educator and Tuskegee alumnus.

VICE PRESIDENT:

Dr. Latresia Wilson is the Vice President of the Black Farmers and Agriculturalists Association-Florida Chapter.

Dr. Wilson is an emergency room physician who resides in the state of Florida. Dr. Wilson is a graduate of the Universityof Virginia and the University of Florida with degrees in Nuclear Engineering, including a PhD.

Dr. Wilson graduated from the University of California-Irvine with her medical degree and completed residency at the University of Florida-Jacksonville.

Dr. Wilson is currently pursuing a master’s of business administration at Auburn University.  She is an all-natural beef farmer and has interests in several small businesses. Dr. Wilson spent many years on the family farm prior to college and is a recent graduate of “Annie’s Project”. Dr. Wilson was recently elected by the Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, to serve on the Advisory Committee on Biotechnology & 21st Century Agriculture (AC21).

Dr. Wilson is also a dedicated member of the Florida Farmers Bureau.
